Like the other members of the Roane Travel Design family, Laine also grew up with a curiosity for the world around her. She remembers having a passion for travel from a very young age, fueled by her various childhood moves around the country and different family vacations abroad.
After heading off to college, Laine gravitated toward working in various roles that allowed her to make a difference in the community. She found herself working with nonprofits, marketing agencies, community relations programs and the like. In addition, she used her time at Boston College to focus on her studies on communications, business, management, and medical humanities, hoping that this would help her make an even more significant impact.

Following college, her role as a Travel Designer at Roane Travel Design allowed her to put her passion into practice. In addition to working with clients, Laine had the opportunity to begin philanthropic partnerships for Roane Travel clients who were interested in connecting more with the local communities. Eventually, Explore With Purpose was started and Laine shifted her efforts to continue growing opportunities for travelers to get involved. While Explore With Purpose is mainly focused in Tanzania, Laine is looking forward to growing the non-profit across some of Roane Travel's favorite destinations.

LAINE LANGENBRUNNER
Rob Sturgill was born and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho. Rob served a 2 year church mission in the Philippines where he gained a great love for the Filipino people and their culture. He graduated from Boise State University with a degree in Economics. Rob is Partner at Edward Jones and has been with the firm for 26 years as a Certified Financial Planner. Rob lives in Kimberly, Idaho where he and his wife, Michelle, have raised their 5 children. When he isn’t in the office helping people with their financial planning, he is organizing humanitarian trips to the Philippines, Africa and Ukraine. Rob founded Type of Wood Charities Inc. in 2014, after rebuilding homes in the Philippines due to the devastation of Typhoon Haiyan, the strongest storm ever recorded. Rob and Type of Wood continue their work in the Philippines with regular dental and medical missions and have expanded with projects in Tanzania and Ukraine. Rob serves on the board of Rise and Rebuild International Foundation, which focuses on feeding malnourished children in the Philippines. His passion for travel and helping others go hand in hand with the mission of Explore With Purpose.

Mary Beth has served in her community and church in a variety of volunteer positions throughout her life. Her most current and wide reaching involvements have been serving on the Ronald McDonald House UpperMidwest BOD for 2 terms, and is currently serving on the BOD for The Grief Club of Minnesota.

Tina was raised in a farm community in rural America who epitomized a lifestyle of extreme generosity - constantly sharing time and resources. Once she volunteered in the Democratic Republic of Congo for six months, her heart was forever linked to East Africa connecting great people with work that truly matters. She has worked in the nonprofit sector for 30+ years and continues to live this privileged dream with her family and three kids, as Vice President at Wine To Water, and with Explore With Purpose! In her free time and between trips to Tanzania you will probably find her trekking, climbing or skiing mountains.

Jim Roane
Mark is a hospitality professional with over 20 years experience in all aspects of the industry. Travel has always been a great privilege to him. Having the opportunity to see beautiful places is only outweighed by meeting and interacting with the incredible local people in each destination.
Africa is raw, authentic, and largely untouched. It is deep-rooted in his soul. Being able to share this great continent with the world is an absolute pleasure. Doing so whilst investing in the development of local communities and their immediate environments provides fulfilment beyond description.

Being a part of the Roane Travel Family has afforded Jenna the opportunity to travel to some incredible places but more importantly fall in love with the people and culture of the countries she visits. It is one thing to travel to a country and another to have the opportunity to build relationships and leave with a piece of that country in your heart. After speaking with many clients before, during and after their trip, Jenna has found that her clients have also developed this same passion and desire to get involved and make a difference in the lives of these people that make such a huge impact on ours. Explore With Purpose is able to bring to light the vision and really continue to bless those that bless us.

Along with the adventure-loving family, Elizabeth explored even more global destinations, including Mnemba Island, Uganda, Rwanda, Australia, Hawaii and many others. Elizabeth found an incredible amount of joy seeing the world through the eyes of a child while watching their curiosity for the world blossom. In addition, this experience created lifelong friendships while strengthening her love of world cultures and exploration.
Like her father, Jim, Elizabeth has a passion for sharing her love of travel and family adventures to unique vacation destinations with others. From luxury African safaris to visiting remote cultures in a far-off corner of the world, each trip has made a lasting impact on Elizabeth's life.

I was born in South africa and from a young age I have loved connecting with different cultures and communities. From humble beginings, i have learnt that the greatest gifts in my life are those which cost the least; time, love and connection.

After completing her degrees in Spanish and communications from the University of North Dakota in 2019, Jenna is now bilingual in English and Spanish.
To date, Jenna has traveled to over 19 unique countries and is always looking to check more adventures off of her bucket list. Between her passion for building meaningful relationships and her love of travel, she found her home as a travel agent here at Roane Travel Design. As a travel expert and official travel designer, Jenna strives to find unique experiences for each traveler.
